The 2023 Arrive Alive Campaign in partnership with Virginia State Police, Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, and State Farm will kick off March 6 and continue through May 31! During this campaign, schools and youth groups work to promote safe driving and passenger behaviors among youth and teens during the high-risk warm weather months.
According to statistics, the months between May and September are the most dangerous for young drivers. During this time period, teens tend to engage in more risky driving behaviors, putting them at risk to be involved in a traffic crash.
The goal of the Arrive Alive Campaign is to prevent speeding and other risky behaviors among teens and to promote teens and all youth buckling up and making responsible traffic safety choices during the spring and summer months. For more information on this campaign or how you can get involved in future campaigns, please contact Casey Taylor at casey.taylor@vsp.virginia.gov. Registration will open February 6, 2023.
