Our campaign, “Arrive Alive”, kicked off on March 20 and runs till May 5! The main focus of the campaign for high schoolers is to encourage and establish safe driving with the warmer season approaching. With prom and the summer months coming, it creates a high risk time when many teenagers choose to drive dangerously, including under the influence. For middle schoolers, the campaign stresses passenger and traffic safety, encouraging good safety behaviors to prepare them for their high school years. It involves a creative project that’s purpose is to inspire the audience, call to action activities that increase knowledge of risky driving, and distraction checks to see how many students are driving distracted. Grants from Allstate and State Farm allow winners of the competition to receive prizes and educational incentives. This is a great opportunity to be creative in finding news ways to enforce safe driving in your school. Get your school to participate so you can improve the safety in your community!
